GENERAL
The steel Mobile is an all steel secure wheeled unit available
generally in 2 sizes. They can be towed to site and levelled
using the four corner steadies.
These highly secure units are used by major hire fleet operators,
construction companies, ministry of defence and police forces.
Sizes available: 3.7m (12`) x 2.3m (7`6) and also 4.9m (16`)
x 2.3m (7`6) CHASSIS
Pressed
steel and welded fabricated chassis manufactured from 3mm B.S.
4360-43A material. Main
chassis members 97mm x 50mm ‘G’ section
on 450mm centres. A frame drawbar 100mm x 50mm x mm RHS
UNDERGEAR
Axle – 1800kg
capacity. Beam axle on 6 leaf springs. V series hub, 5 stud
6.5 PCD fitted
with 250mm x 40m auto reverse
brakes.
COUPLING
40mm ‘eye’ or 50mm ‘ball’ cast
type delta coupling with integral 48mm dia heavy duty jockey
wheel.
Auto reverse hydraulically dampened braking system parking brake.
WHEELS
185/70 R13 tyres to H.G 643 wheels
FLOOR
Under draw with galvanised steel. Floor is 15mm exterior grade
plywood with vinyl floor covering
ROOF
Roof panels made of 1.6mm steel overlapped and continuously
welded.
DOOR
Outward opening giving a clear 2000mm x 760mm access.
WINDOW
Maintenance free anodised aluminium framed sliding window with
anti-vandal hinged steel shutters lockable from within the unit
INSULATION
40mm glassfibre insulation to roof, walls and doors
Internal
lining Pre-finished washable wall board to walls, ceiling and door – skirting
and coving fitted
EXTERNAL FINISH
Prior to painting, the unit is degreased and all joints are
sealed with reinforced mastic. The unit is then spray painted
with one coat high build system including rust inhibitor and
then baked to give a long lasting durable finish.
GAS
Standard integrally mounted lockable gas cage, 2 lights, wall
mounted catalytic gas heater and a gas point.
