EXTERNAL SPECIFICATION
EXTERNAL WALL
Manufactured from 1.6mm profiled mild steel to BS1449 part
1 HR4 drawing quality. Corner posts are manufactured from 3mm folded
mild steel panel to BS 1449 part 1 1983 HR15.
ROOF
Manufactured from 1.6mm profiled mild steel panel to BS 1449
part 1 HR4 drawing quality. Welded to 50mm x 50mm x 8mm steel angle
perimeter rail and fully welded to walls.
FLOOR
Manufactured from 78mm x 38mm steel channel bearers at 600mm
centres welded to 78mm x 38mm side rails. Twist lock plates at the
corners, manufactured from 200mm x 10mm steel plate to accept twist
locks for loading and to lock onto top lifting lug to facilitate stacking
of units. Interior floor of 18mm ply fixes to channel bearers.
DOOR
Manufactured from 3mm mild steel flat panel with 50mm x 50mm
x 5mm anti jemmy angle welded to closing edge and hung on full length
of heavy duty piano hinge. Welded steel door handle to exterior, door
to be locked with 5-level insurance approved mortice lock and held
in place with heavy-duty steel ball catch.
WINDOWS
Single glazed 900mm x 900mm sliding windows protected by heavy
duty double steel shutters manufactured from 3mm steel plate with
10mm flat bar protection strip covering closing edges. Shutters locked
from inside with heavy-duty spring loaded shoot bolts top and bottom.
TOP LIFT
Lifting lug manufactured from 20mm steel, to BS 10204-3-1-B
and BS4872 part 1 1982, welded onto 200mm x 20mm flat bar to BS EN
10204-3-1-B and BS4872 part 1 1982.
JACK LEGS
Units are available with or without fixed or demountable jacklegs.
FINISH
All units are finished externally using container paint one
coat primer finish semi gloss C5000 resistant to wear, impact, salt
water, mineral oil, splashes of aliphatic solvents, animal and vegetable
oils, 80 DFT. Colour and underside finish is optional.
INTERNAL SPECIFICATION
WALL FINISH
Choice of 4mm decorative vinyl faced ply or 9mm Melamine faced
chipboard fixed to 50mm x 50mm timber studded panels. Ceiling finished
in 4mm white vinyl faced ply.
FLOOR
The 18mm ply is covered with 2mm polyfloor heavy-duty vinyl.
INSULATION
50mm Rockwool insulation to walls and ceiling.
ELECTRICS
All electrics are installed to IEE Regulations using surface
mounted trunking to enable ease of access.
